Welcome to Multimedia arts. In this course students will gain a vast understanding of the Elements and Principles of art, and how they are used in graphic design and digital photography. We will learn about these topics as we explore how they are used in print advertising.

Unit 1: Introductions
In this unit you will begin by introducing yourself to the class. Then you will be introduced to the basics of how to use a digital camera. Finally you will be introduced to the basics of Adobe Photoshop.
Unit 2: Understanding the Basics of Photoshop
In this Unit student will learn how to use a digital camera and will gain a basic understanding of photoshop. The concepts We will explore the concept of unity, color repetition, and contrast
Unit 3: Surrealism
In this unit student will learn about surreal imagery and how to create surreal images using photoshop. Students will also learn about billboard advertisements and what makes the unique when compared to other forms of advertising.
Unit 4: Composite Images
In this unit student will learn about Composite imagery. Students will also learn how to use color to create both unity and contrast.
Unit 5:Montage vs. Collage
In this unit students will explore the differences between collage and montage art.
Unit 6: Board Game Design
In this unit students will explore the industry of board game creation and product packaging design.
